5th Grade Debate
Fifth graders were given the prompt, "Is it OK to steal to feed the starving?" Split into teams, each group had to research their stance and back it up with evidence and argument to support in the debate. Some opted to use charts and graphs and empirical data to support their arguments. Both teams did a great job in building and supporting their argument and got a taste of a formal debate.
Valentine's Day classroom party
#valentinedesign
Students used materials from around the classroom to create some amazing, last-minute Valentine projects for our Valentine's Party. I was quite impressed with what they did in a short span of time. Great job!
